Today I set up a "MEETUP Group" that our friends could join. We've invited to be members of the group those friends who are interested in hiking with us on some of the legs. Creating a Meetup Group will enable us to easily make announcements of target hikes where we would enjoy/require company (and the company could provide a shuttle car when a leg requires shuttling by car.) I added to the MEETUP Group two hikes for Day-1 (Campo-Border-Campo, 2.6-miles) and Day-2 (Campo-Lake Morena, 20.2 Miles). Day-1 will mostly be a recon day for determining logistics required for the legs to get us up to Cibbets Flat, that's so only doing 2.6 miles of the PCT will be just fine for us. We might, however, also hike up to Kitchen Creek Falls that day... and maybe go for a dip in the creek too!
